The Foreign Ministry held the first training session for DCM (Deputy Chief of Mission) in 2020 from June 18 to 24. A total of 33 participants were present, including DCMs who are on vacation in Beijing, candidate DCMs and senior diplomats. It is the first offline training session held amid the ongoing epidemic prevention and control. Sun Xianghua, Director-General of the Department of Personnel and Minister Counsellor for Political Affairs Yu Peng attended and addressed the opening and closing ceremony. Qi Dayu, Vice Chancellor of the China Diplomatic Academy and Lan Heping, Vice President of the China Diplomatic Academy presided over relevant activities.
