On July 2, 2020, the Foreign Ministry held the third 2020 Lecture on China’s National Conditions of the China Diplomatic Academy. Li Qingrui, Executive Vice-President of the China Ecological Civilization Research and Promotion Association, was invited to give a report themed on “Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization and a new vision for development”. He expounded on the great significance and the connotation of Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization, comprehensively introduced the concept of ecological civilization, green development, and the development trend of energy in the future, as well as elaborated on the important significance on energy conservation of public institutions and relevant policies. The seminar is one part of the activities of the energy-conservation week and low-carbon day of the Foreign Ministry.
