From September 28 to 29, the 2021 training session on foreign affairs management of National Medical Products Administration was held in Beijing. Hosted by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), the training session was organized by National Medical Products Administration Institute of Executive Development, and co-organized by China Diplomatic Academy (CDA). The training session was attended by nearly 50 people including responsible officials of diplomatic work and liaison officials from various departments and bureaus of National Medical Products Administration and units directly affiliated to NMPA in Beijing.
The participants mainly studied a study outline on Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy, the requirements of foreign affairs management, and relevant foreign policies and regulations, which enable them to better engage in international exchanges and cooperation with respect to medical products administration. CDA invited instructors from the Department of Policy Planning, the Department of Foreign Affairs Management and the Department of Treaty and Law of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to give lectures in the training session so as to ensure that the goals are achieved.
The trainees said, under the severe circumstance of the global struggle against COVID-19 currently, the training session plays a positive role in improving their political judgment, comprehension and execution, strengthening their understanding of international situation and the priorities in foreign affairs, and comprehensively promoting international exchanges and cooperation in medical products administration in the new era.
