On March 15, Xu Zhongsheng, Vice Chancellor of China Diplomatic Academy (CDA), held a video call with Siddharth Chatterjee, the United Nations (UN) Resident Coordinator in China. Both sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in training related to implementing the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Both sides spoke positively of China’s cooperation with the UN, saying that China is a backbone and strong supporter of the UN and multilateralism. Strengthening cooperation in the training will contribute to further enriching the connotation of cooperation between China and the UN and help accelerating the implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development globally. Both sides agreed to promote communication and cooperation on issues such as implementing the memorandum of cooperation signed between CDA and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).
